Channel 5 (first era)Edit
Channel 5's original identity was developed by Wolff Olins for the retuning campaign that preceded the channel's launch.
Five (first era)Edit
A set of idents, similar to the original ones, was launched in April 2008.
The final set with this logo was launched on January 23, 2006, but didn't actually use the logo in them. Instead, various words connected to the ident were shown in the same font as the logo. The idents were created by BB/Saunders.
New versions of the "words" idents came about in January 2007, with all the words replaced by "five".
Channel 5 (second era)Edit
Five was relaunched as Channel 5 On Valentine's Day 2008. The new logo is a circle with a 5 inside. This is similar to the logo of Nick Associated Broadcasting Company (formerly ABC5) introduced the previous year.
Five (second era)Edit
( Note: This Logo is an error) On February 1st 2016, Channel 5 was rebranded again, retaining the original name of "Five" which had been used from 2000 to 2009, following the channel's purchase by Viacom. The idents feature an ivory sans serif white '5' in a yellow environment and performing a variety of tasks.
In 2014, Five was replaced Nick Jr. and updated their identy so that logo appeared in 3D.
In 2015, Five was relaunched in the UK.
A HD version for Five launched in 2016.
