CITV is a program block on ITV (formerly ITV1). It launched in 1983.
Before Children's ITV, Watch IT! Launched in 1976 from Southern TV (Later TVS)

This particular ident was used in 1988, but the logo itself was used in various idents from 1983 until 1994.
This particular ident was used in 1990, but the logo itself first appeared 31 January 1989 and lasted until its final appearance on 1 April 1994.
This first appeared on 4 September 1989 and lasted until its final appearance on 31 January 1994.
This logo had it's first appearance on 1 April 1990 and lasted until its final appearance on 26 May 1998. The word 'Childrens' was removed on 2 September 1996.
A new logo for CiTV launched on 26 May 1998. With it, the name was changed to CiTV and in-vision continuity returned.
On 2 September 2002, the name was changed from CiTV to CITV.
On 11 March 2006, CITV launched as its own channel. It has a triangle with a C with "itv" on it.

The triangle was removed on 2 November 2009. the C was jazzed up as a yellow TV with a ariel on the top. The word "itv" was also moved from the bottom of the C.
When ITV rebranded on 14 January 2013, CITV rebranded it's logo too. CITV|ITV3
